Task: Setup Service Engagement Administration
During the Transition Handover-In phase, the administration function needed for an Service Engagement to run efficiently must be established.

During the initial stages of the Service Engagement, the Engagement Manager is responsible to establish the administration function. It is recommended that the Project Management Office manages and controls this function by initializing at least the following areas:

  • Creation of a common Service Engagement Repository, as described in “Document and Record Management”.
  • Initialization of the baselines for the services.
  • Establishment of the financial controls.

For a Service Engagement with a Rightshore component, the Engagement Manager must ensure that the administrative requirements for the offshore team are defined and accommodated and both on a process- as well as a data-level the Service Engagement can be seamlessly managed.
